Our phalanstery was drawn with particular focus on the areas where certain things would take place. Fourier focuses on how the senses interact with a persons daily life. Such things as having smaller broken up rooms to eat in and having the work shops and children at play being far away from everyone where of the utmost importance. This is why we labeled many of the areas of out phalanstery to show how these divides were a significant focus of the architectural scheme that Fournier imagined.
